Mr & Mrs SMITH ARRIVE

Chrissy & Eammon have come for a week. Long time, no see.
Chrissy was formally known as Chrissy Ireland in the Navy.
First night was spent a Bruno's and we were pretty drunk!

GUESTS ARE COMING...

As we have visitors coming out, it's bath time for dogs.
Arthur is cool with it, but Bella isn't so keen.

OUTSIDE PAINTING

The good weather continues. Been close to 70F for a week now, so a good chance to get all the outside painting done.

DARTS SEASON ENDS

The last league game of the season has been played and we were beaten 14-5 by Matignon, just up the road. A result that helps them get to Laval for the "best of the rest" competition.
We have finished with a record of 14 won and 2 lost.
Both teams posed for an after match picture and much beer was drunk.
Bottom right is the French Number 1 darts player Didier Sarazin who came along to watch.
Champions League Day is 22nd May in Laval.

PLANTING TIME AGAIN

Planting time again. The patch has been extended by a couple of meters as we are trying a few new thinks this year like Broccoli and Melons.

All the usual stuff, Garlic, Lettuce, parsnips, Strawberries, Peas, green beans, Courgettes, Potatoes, Carrots, Onions, Cabbage, to name a few.

The weather has been excellent the past few days, so ideal time to plant.

RAINBOW ON THE CHATEAU

Whilst walking up to Mikhails for the party, we though that this would make a good photo.

SATURDAY DINNER PARTY

Last Saturday all the regulars went to Mikhail & Natasha's for a party.
Plenty to drink as normal and a great roast pork meal.
Only two months to the Gardhouse 3rd Annual Mid-summers day BBQ!

TEAM POOL TOURNAMENT.

The pool team had no fixture this week, so we played a doubles tournament amongst ourselves on Friday.
Arthur & Nadine won by a point in a real close encounter

Do not be fooled, this is an old cup, but it gave Arthur his moment of glory.
Jammy git!

ARTHUR IS 4.

Arthur's birthday was this week. 4 years old and the laziest mutt in Brittany, apart from walkies time.
He got his favourite treat of Yorkshire Puddings.
Arthur's birthday is of course on April Fools Day!
The sad news is that at the village dog show in August, he can't take part as he is a mixed breed half-caste.
The good news is that he is almost top of the list for a council house!
