GOOD START

A 17-3 win over St Malo last night has given our new team the best possible start in the National Darts league.
The team was Myself, Andy, Christophe, & Nico.

Long old night in this new format tho. Darts finished at 1am, then the hosts gave us a meal.
Didn't get home till 2-30 in the morning, and am feeling it today.

NEW DARTS SEASON

The new darts season starts tonight, and for me a new team, new league, and a nice new shirt.
After John moved out the area, and Seb went on the pro circuit, I have decided to sign for Matignon. First match tonight in France nation Division 2 North West is against St Malo.

Then just for fun the new Phoenix Internet Darts starts next month.
You can play teams from anywhere in the world with this clever invention, all linked up by live TV.
More details soon!

RNA LOCAL FUNCTION

As Social Sec (West) of the France North RNA, I was tasked with organising this months function.
So where better place to hold it than in our fine village restaurant Auberge du Manoir

39 members and guests attended and enjoyed a fine 3 course meal with unlimited wine.

Good to see all the faces again.
Next function..Trafalgar Day Lunch in Pontorson.
Nothing like rubbing the French noses in it in their own backyard!

VISITORS PARTY

We have had Nick and Paul out for a week and they were joined by my brother and Nikki on Saturday (A full house nearly)
had a bit of a cocktail party in the garden.

Of course the cocktail eats were of the highest order, and the Bloody Mary's and Pimms were outstanding.

A BUSY WEEK

More visitors tomorrow. Paul is coming over with Nick the Puff, so a few nights drinking in the garden will be in order.
Then on Saturday it's my brother with Dangerous Nikki for a long weekend.
Big party outside on Saturday night.

AUTUMN IS COMING

A tonne of apples in the back garden.
The plums are nearly gone.
Tomatoes have picked up lately.
I am fed up of making plum sauce with all the sodding plums we have.

And now a plague of giant grasshoppers.
Well, one to be honest. He was quite large.
