CURRY CLUB

The new marquee was put up (without the sides as it was scorching) for the Royal Navy Association,
France Nord Branch curry event.

Once again Master Chef created sheek kebabs,
chciken passanda, aloo gobi, naan breads and rice.
Desserts were donated by members and a good event was had by all.

NIGHT AWAY

Former St Potan resident and fellow darts team
player, John Beasley, picked me up last Thursday.
Went back to his new village, Cherrieux, about 40 miles east of here.

Went out for a bite to eat and as expected,
many beers.
A good night!

NAVY CURRY EVENT COMING UP

Saturday 27th June we are hosting Brittany's finest curry event
at Chez Gard.
Preparation is underway, and on Saturday I made the
Garlic and Corriander Naan Breads.
It was warm enough to prove the dough mixture
outside in roughly 40 minutes, which is
just the way they do it in the Punjab!

SWARMING

Saturday afternoon the bees swarmed, and settled on nextdoor's apple tree.
Alan & Jane came down and took them for one of their hives.

So, all is back to normal in our hive, and the spring
honey is due to be harvested.

GIRLIE VISITORS

Alison and Yvonne came over for the weekend.
Both served with Marie in Gibraltar around 1986.

So, we ate out every lunchtime, in St Cast, Dinan, & Plancoet,
and generally chilled all weekend.
