SMUGGLING

Of all you people who have visited us, most have taken back nice French wine, or Calvados, cheaper ciggies.
But you are all wrong if you think you are saving a few quid on a bit of plonk.
THE FUTURE IS.......
A 3 pack of tinned peas and carrots. Onle 1 euro 45 at Super U.
Paul was that impressed he smuggled some back to blighty.

Paul and Nick came out for a few days. We had lunch at Erquy and went to Cap Frehel on a wet and murky day.

It warmed up a bit by Saturday.

VIDE GRENIER.

The village car boot sale was last Sunday. Not many stalls but a good social meeting place.
I reckon we would crack it on Bargain Hunt.
This stylish twig with ashtray was just a euro..

...And this art deco wine bottle was a snip at 50 cents.

STRANGE BUG.

Marie found this catterpillar marching across the veg patch destroying everything in it's wake.
When it grows up it will be a swallow tail butterfly. But not in our garden.

THE RUSSIANS NEW BOAT

Mikhail has bought a new and bigger boat which is now moored in St Cast port.
He has to row out to the mooring.
Where's the big boat picture?
The camera wasn't charged up so I couldn't take a pic!
Different boat..same story..no fish.

THIS WEEK

We have been to the Russians for dinner. Lovely Japanese style meal, with a lot of single malt whisky.
And to Andy and Sophie's for a galette night.
Going to have a lazy weekend before Paul and Nick come out on Wednesday.

OUT FOR A PICNIC

Friday was warm but windy, so we took a picnic down to the lake.
A bit too windy, we ate and left quite quickly.

On the walk back we passed the St Potan chateau. I haven't posted this building on here before.
Pretty impressive.
