BANK HOLIDAYS

Monday was a bank holiday in the UK and France.
It was another scorching day here, and whilst sitting in the Gard Manoir garden, my thoughts turned to what people would be doing back home.

All I could think of is burnt BBQ's cooked by half naked men with sunburn.

And the fine culinary delights..

But here in refined France I had to settle for these for my bank holiday treat.

All washed down with a cold Chablis.
I like living in France.

Awesome.

And totally agree.

Plate of oysters and a fine dry white, or even a simple Gros Plant du Pays du Natais or Muscadet.

Can't wait to get back next week.
