NEW BOAT
A VERY RARE PHOTO.
NEW OFFICIAL WALK ROUTE OPENS.
The commune of St Potan has opened a new circular walk of 6 1/2 km's starting at the lake.
With the help of local farmers and landowners, chunks of countryside have now opened up.
About 70 turned up for the Sunday morning walk, which started with a free coffee.
We set off on the walk about 1015.
We took the dogs of course but with so many people we kept them on the lead.
Then the mayor and deputy mayor officially opened the route.
This was followed by a couple of free drinks for the walkers.
We went back and did the walk by ourselves yesterday, so we could give the dogs a run.

LEARN FRENCH WITH AL AND MARIE.
I was deeply saddened to see that Southampton lost 2-0 last night.
So, for those of you travelling through France in the next few months, if you see somebody wearing a Southampton shirt, please cheer them up by singing this little ditty in French.
Bournemouth sit 4th whilst poor Saints are in the bottom 3.
"Another bottle of vintage wine over here waiter."
IN FRENCH:
Si j'avais les ailes d'un moineau;
Si j'avais le fond d'une corneille;
Je volerais au-dessus de Southampton demain;
Et merde sur ces personnes ci-dessous.
IN ENGLISH:
If I had the wings of a sparrow,
and I had the arse of a crow,
I would fly over Southampton tomorrow,
And shit on those people below.
THE WATERMELONS.
