RNA AGM and LUNCH

We went to the France Nord Navy Association AGM and lunch at
L'Eden Brug near Miniac Morvan.
A lovely setting in the middle of nowhere, where the chef breeds his own meat.

TENNIS COURTS

The courts are looking a bit better at work.
Things are now getting busy before Easter when the Celtic residence will be quite full.

A NEW OLD TABLE

We have been searching for a decent sized dining table for the kitchen for quite a while.
The one we have is decent enough but only sits 6 comfortably.
Suddenly we were made aware of this French table and have bought it for 150 euros.
1.6 meters by 1.0, and 2.6 meters when extended.
Comfortable dinner parties for 10 now!

AT LAST.

A really decent week weather wise.
Good news for the dogs who have been stuck in the house during the wet winter.
Even hit 72 degrees last week, which is serious "lazy dog" weather.

WORK

The wettest winter ever. That's for sure, and we are only just begining to see a hint of spring.
Nice view over the golf course from work the other day.

The tennis courts have taken a bit of a battering
and are covered in moss. It's going to take a bit of work to get them back up to standard.

What do you think of the tree pruning?

NAVY ASSOCIATION IN LAMBALLE

Sunday, and the Navy Association were parading nearby in Lamballe, to commemorate the French Resistance and the 70th Anniversary of the liberation.

Twas damn cold and windy at the highest point in the town where the memorial is.

There was an excellent turn out of WW2 vehicles as well.
A good morning which was followed by lunch for all at friends.
