Well it's not realy this weeks news, more like next week.
But at last the builders are coming in to do the drainage out the back, and build a retaining wall. They are putting in a "french drain" (Wouldn't be a German drain would it...well it could have been if it wasn't for D-Day) which will take all excess water to the commune drainage ditch outside.
All you people on mains drainage will not understand this, but we are living in 1940 here. (Well, we are not as there are no Germans in the bar flogging fakes of the "fallen madonna with the big boobies") Why do I keep mentioning the war?
