I don't know if it is the warm evenings, but the bugs are out in force at night.
Obviously fields have to be manured this time of year which does not help.
Plenty of hornets are around, especially about 11pm.
It's like the drone of 644 squadron coming over the garden.

Something (thankfully) weve not seen many of this year, hornets.
we have one that visits every night at around 11oclock. He hits the lounge window and is so loud my collie runs and hides !!! He has been here now for about 2 weeks and never misses an evening
