BARCELONA

Arrived in Barcelona around 3pm on the 28th to meet up with the Millard's, the day before Marie's 50th. 

Checked into the Club Lounge of the Fira Palace, Crowne Plaza, which included free drinks for our stay.

First evening straight out for tapas and vino

Did a bit of tourism, like the Sagrada Familia, which looked like a church that had melted.

Also went down to the port where all the posh boats were,

The weather was strangely warm for the time of year, with not a cloud in the sky for 4 days.

Did a bit of promenading along the port where there were plenty of

places for refreshment!!

Found the Christopher Columbus memorial.

And also found "The Old Fashioned Gin and Tonic Bar" who served the most fantastic cocktails late into the night.
