Have not posted on the blog for a while because I have been back to the annual Navy Chefs and Caterers reunion at the Nautical Club in Birmingham.
Because of logistics, I was in Birmingham a day before everyone else. After a Tuesday night ferry, I stayed in Fareham with Kaz and Gaz. A few beers and a meal out, then up to Brum on the Thursday morning.
Occupied myself quite well until nearly 200 of the Navy's finest branch turned up for the main Friday event.
Loads of old stories, and laughter was washed down with gallons of beer and rum.
A damn fine function.
